Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park It is located at Ungasan Peninsula, halfway between Ngurah Rai airport and the Nusa Dua Resort complex, not far from the luxury hotels of Jimbaran. 15 minutes drive from Nusa Dua / Kuta and 25 minutes from Sanur tourist destination area. GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana) is the yet to be completed cultural theme park set amidst 200 hectares of land. The main feature of the park will be the 125 meters tall statue of the Hindu Lord Wisnu, riding on the wings of a golden Garuda eagle, which will be visible from a 20km radius. The finished monument weighting an estimated 4000 tons and towering 286 meters above sea level and 146 meters from the monument’s base. The GWK is already proving very popular as a venue for large M.I.C.E. events in Bali, drawn to its dramatic setting and using the 700-seats open amphitheatre, an adjoining open mall suitable for THEME EVENTS and the collection of excellent restaurants at GWK able to cater such gathering. One of the site’s more dramatic venues is a magnificent man-made canyon cut squarely into a massive hillside. More than a thousand dinners can be accommodated between the imposing vertical cliff faces providing a surreal backdrop for an outdoor event long to be remembered. This cultural park has some facilities such as Exhibition hall, Amphitheatre, Street theatre, Lotus Pond , Café and Restaurants. Kedongan Beach Cafe This area is located south of Bali International Airport of Ngurah Rai, it takes less than 10 minutes drive. Beautiful white sandy beach and clear seawater that is suitable for recreation and relaxation. This area is famous for its delicious BBQ seafood with Kedonganan village's "secret sauce", typically grilled seafood. Freelance Trio Batak singers are always ready to entertain optionally.
